Have you answered your questions?

Within the past year, there has been an increase in the number of “phishing” scam e-mails going around the Internet in an attempt to acquire personal and account information from customers.  Concerned?  Don’t be.   BTInet is proactive to aid you in protecting your account by making some changes in regards to how you access or change your account information with us.

Today when you call our office with a billing or technical question, where protected information (such as, but not limited to: billing info, username & passwords, any changes to service, etc.) may be discussed, you will have to provide us with either your verification ID or at least one of the answers to your security question in order to identify you as one of the authorized contacts for the account.

Not sure if you answered your securities questions or know your Verification ID?  Not a problem – you can either log into your e-bill account or give our helpdesk a call and they would be happy to assist you.

As outlined in our Privacy Policy, this information will not be shared or disclosed with any party outside of BTInet and is only for identification purposes.

** Don’t forget you can add an authorized contact on your account (husband, wife, family member, business partner, etc) thus enabling that individual to obtain account information on your behalf.
