When NOT to have a static IP address

When NOT to have a static IP Address:

  1. If you only browse the Internet.
  2. If you download or upload files.
  3. If you use Instant message services or chat services.
  4. If you run any web or FTP servers that only require access from your LAN and that do not require access from the Internet.
  5. If you send and receive e-mail with yahoo, gmail, hotmail & etc.
  6. If your family has several computers.
