What are your OS options?

At BTInet we understand that the success of your business depends on making the correct choices.  We don’t just give you a server; we give you more than just a server.  We give you a customized business solution designed to take your business to the next level.  Our administrators and sales department will help steer you in the right direction.

BTInet offers a couple different OS systems including:

  • Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition
    • Full flexibility to run your server how you choose. Ideal for deploying large database applications or even as an Exchange mail server.
  • Windows Server 2008 Datacenter Edition
    • Optimized for large-scale virtualization of workloads that require the highest levels of scalability, reliability, and availability to support large, mission-critical applications.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 or 6
    • Full choice over the software you install. Use for a web server, enterprise database server or whatever you choose.
  • Centos
    • CentOS has an active, growing user community with long term support and security updates.

Which OS do you go with?  That all depends on your companies needs.  Whatever they may be, BTInet provides the flexibility for you to determine the best platform for your dedicated hosting.  Having a dedicated server will provide you with the capability to go far beyond the resource limitations found in a shared hosting environment.
