Being Thankful…

Thanksgiving is a time for togetherness. It is an occasion to be spent in the warm and loving company of family, loved ones and friends enjoying turkey and pumpkin pies. Thanksgiving also gives everyone a time to renew the ties that bind us with the ones we love.  It is a time for remembering, cherishing and being thankful for all the good things you have been blessed with. With that being said…’Happy Thanksgiving’ to all!

In observance of the upcoming  holidays, our administrative office will be closed on the following days:

New Year’s Holiday –

Monday, January 2nd, 2012

“Freedom is nothing else but a chance to be better.”

With the 4th of July just around the corner, we prepare to celebrate Independence Day.  Tens of thousands of spectators from around the world will line the streets of Mandan, North Dakota to celebrate Independence Day with the region’s largest parade. The Parade, themed “Stars on the Prairie“, will feature the beautiful pageantry and tradition of high-stepping equestrians, spirited marching bands and numerous other displays.

Various activities are scheduled to run from Saturday – Monday in the Bismarck & Mandan area.  Activities include but are not limited to, Fort Lincoln Trolley rides, Motorcycle Stunt Show, Pitch Fork Fondue, Art in the Park, Inflatable Games and etc.  Don’t forget to put on your schedule the Annual Mandan Rodeo featuring Britany Fleck, a local barrel racer.  Britany and her mare Dasher Dude are currently ranked eighth in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association standings with over $26,000 in earnings.  To read more on the rodeo, check it out here

Bear in mind what Independence Day is all about — The United States is truly a diverse nation made up of dynamic people. Each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, and family gatherings. Through the Internet we are learning about and communicating with people of different nations, with different languages and different races throughout the world. Bringing the world closer with understanding and knowledge can only benefit all nations.

BTInet wishes each and every one of you a happy 4th of July weekend.  Enjoy. Have fun. Be Safe.
